"Samarium" Guided Tours of Salento in the English, Italian and Polish languageHi Everyone, we'd like to invite You to Salento (Lecce, Brindisi, Taranto) - "hidden pearl of southern Italy". We love this place for an unsurpassed combination of sun, sea, history, architecture and art, great food and wine, and the unbelievable warmth of the people. We organize the guided tours of Salento, weddings, honeymoons, incentive travels, help You find the best hotel and restaurant here. We follow a verse from an Italian poem that was used on an old tourism ad for southern Italy: "No earthly hope can give my heart peace as much as the certainty of sun that overflows from your sky". Travelling with us, You choose professionalism and security. Kind regards, Justyna and Marco The remains of Greek and Roman temples and
pre-historic monuments are scattered all over the dry sierras, popping
up amid cactuses, olive groves and tobacco farms.
"The Guardian" This is one of the most beautiful regions of Italy - and part of what makes it so beautiful is that it's virtually deserted. The thing about Italy, which you soon learn if you spent much time there, is that it's often surprisingly crowded, especially during the summer months. So somewhere like Puglia, which tends to be visited only by Italians, is so refreshing. Added to which, the landscape is stunning, there is no industry so the air is pure, the hotels are very simple and everything about it - be it the food, the temperature or the sea - is just perfect. Really, it's the best of Italy without any of the downsides that inevitably come with tourism. How long it will stay that way, I don't know, so I go now, whenever I can.
